For the right motivated sales person, this job offers the chance to make an impact. We are currently seeking a top-performing sales professional to grow sales in our Ohio, West Virginia, and Northeastern Kentucky District. The District is comprised of Ohio (excludes Southwest Ohio), West Virginia, Northeast Indiana, and Northwest Kentucky. The position will preferably be based in Ohio and will be part of the US East and Latin American sales team.
This position will be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle and communications at the end user and distributor levels. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales East USA and Latin America.
Develop and maintain a robust sales opportunity pipeline documented in Salesforce.com
Incorporate Salesforce.com into daily activity
Sell gas detection solutions in a consultative manner
Support, manage and evaluate current and new channel partners
Develop the customer base necessary to meet annual sales targets
Maintain high level of product and application knowledge
Prospect for new business, grow existing relationships, and prepare and present proposals
Develop and adhere to business plan that ensures success
Bachelor‚€™s degree in a related field of study
5 or more years of documented successful outside sales experience managing a multistate territory
Basic understanding of industrial markets and customers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated commitment to customer service
Solid prioritization and organizational skills
Highly ethical
Experience using CRM software (Salesforce.com preferred)
Reside in Eastern Ohio (not Cincinnati)
Overnight travel 50%
Demonstrated success in selling to the C-Suite level
Experience working with industrial distribution
Gas detection and safety experience (sales, customer service, or technical support)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and talk and listen. The employee is required frequently to use hands and digits to handle or feel work material. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Lifting/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 5 to 10 lbs daily. Must be able to use/wear applicable personal protective equipment which may include but is not limited to safety-toed foot wear (with ankle height support), back support belt, hearing protection, and safety eye-wear with side shields. Frequent assent/decent of stairs/steps, especially at field locations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
