Non-Exempt______________________________________________________________________________POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARYIndustrial Electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts, such as control panels, motors, hydraulic pneumatic, and other types of systems.
This position requires extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations.
They must be professional, technical, and mechanically proficient.
Keep work area safe, neat, and clean.
In this position, the ability and motivation to learn quickly is imperative.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSo Arrive at plant on time, properly groomed, mentally alert, and physically able to work.
o Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specificationso Install new or refurbished equipment for manufacturing.
o Rum tests to ensure new machinery is ready.
o Diagnosis, troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other devices.
o Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance recordso Complete reports pertaining to repair and maintenance of machineo Operating mobile equipment as required such as front loaders, skid steers, forklift, etc.
o Assisting with a wide range of other duties in the plant as neededo Strictly adhere to PTT! Health and Safety Policies and Procedureso Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

, work in extreme hot and cold weather, must stand for long periods of time, will be exposed to loud noise levels, operate hand and power tools for long periods of time.
Work in an environment with dirt, grease, and dust.
Manual dexterity to operate specialized equipment.
Ability to hear telephone conversations and speak clearly.
May need a high level of concentration in a busy area.
WORKING CONDITIONSMonday through Friday and on-call is required.
Shift, weekend, and overtime as required.
